We see on a daily basis how well both our Eight Week Antenatal Classes and Fathers Evenings work in the context of a group. Discussion is encouraged and the different questions asked mean that we cover all perspectives. It also makes it less intense, with plenty of room for laughter. But what we are always told is one of the key benefits of an antenatal class is meeting a group of like-minded women who are all having babies around the same time as you. By the end of eight classes they are firm friends, but a year on, as they celebrate their babies first birthdays (more often than not together), they are as thick as thieves.
For this reason, we only very rarely do private classes. We have supported a number of high profile couples on the course, and in every case discretion is paramount and the couple have benefited from and enjoyed the group dynamic. Occasionally however, a private class, is the only option. This is usually for medical reasons or if the circumstances of the birth of their baby mean they need very specific information, for example if they are using a surrogate.
Every private class is designed specifically for the client so if you would like to discuss this further, please email [email protected] for more information.
Our First Aid Classes, are frequently run privately and cost £600 for up to 8 participants.
